An Evening with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
We are thrilled to announce our second appointment with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, offering our members a unique opportunity to enjoy fabulous concerts from the best seats at Cadogan Hall, and all following a delightful meal at the Club!
Wednesday 4th March, Cadogan Hall. Concert starts at 7.30pm. Rachmaninoff's Symphony No.2. Written in a time of revolution, Sergei Prokofiev’s First Violin Concerto feels like a musical fairy tale. Moldovan violinist Alexandra Tirsu brings elegance and virtuosity to the solo, joined by conductor Eun Sun Kim, hailed as “a major star” by The New York Times. Lili Boulanger’s lively march opens the programme, before Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Second Symphony closes with sweeping romance, dramatic power and unforgettable melody.
