This is, without question, the most exciting journey that Kathrin and I have embarked upon. We arrived in Beijing, full of excitement and anticipation; not only for the rally, but also because there is a dinner at the Beijing Raffles for eighty people, including the Swiss and British Ambassadors to China and, I am cooking! Raphael Duebendorfer, a young chef from Mosimann’s flew out and he will help me with the risotto, because it has to be cooked al minute, so there is absolutely no margin for error.

Peter Wynne, the general manager of the hotel had contacted me in London and suggested that we did this dinner to raise money for the charity, Hospitality Action.
